Great Plains College is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic instructor(s) for our Agriculture Certificate program at the Swift Current Campus. The instructor will plan, organize and implement instructional programming in a learning environment that guides and encourages learners to develop and fulfil their academic potential.

Position Details:
Student Contact Days: 7.5 days
Total Contract Days: 8.5 days
Start date: September 2024
End date: December 2024
Course(s):
Tillage and Direct Seeding Systems (MR112)

Student Contact Days: 12.0 days
Total Contract Days: 13.75 days
Start date: January 2025
End date: April 2025
Course(s):
Business Records and Reporting (AE202).

Qualifications:
The Agriculture Certificate Instructor should bring the following qualifications to this position:
Bachelors Degree in Agriculture, Crop Science/Agribusiness, or a closely related field with industry of farming related knowledge and experience.
Two years recent/relevant work experience in the specialty area to be taught.
Effective communication skills (oral and written).
Effective interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
Effective instructional ability.
Demonstrated competence and recent experience in the use of the internet, email, MS Office Suite software and the ability to learn and adapt to changing technology.
Demonstrates valuing diversity.
