SaskJobs Partnership with the National Job Bank

Saskjobs.ca is partnering with the National Job Bank to serve you better. The partnership will continue to provide you with secure recruiting, hiring and job matching services, along with a number of new features – all at no cost to you.

Enhanced features and services for employers

  • Job matching services: Target and recruit applicants from across the country whose experiences, skills and user profiles match your posted job needs.
  • Job alerts: Have your posted jobs highlighted to registered job seekers whose user profiles match the skills you are looking for.
  • Labour market information and intelligence: Access comprehensive labour market information for your workforce planning needs.
  • Targeted recruitment: Easily target your job posts to under-represented groups in the labour force, including indigenous people, people experiencing disabilities, newcomers to Canada, veterans, students and youth.
  • Accessibility: Enjoy a visually accessible site, in both official languages.
  • Self-help support: Find comprehensive support tools to help you troubleshoot problems independently - 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
  • Security: Experience topline security features throughout the site.

Important dates

Please note the following important dates:

  • Effective immediately: Employers can visit the Saskjobs.ca/Job Bank for Employers page to register and create an employer account. Video tutorials on the Employer Resources page are available to guide users through the process. After registration and validation, employers can begin to take advantage of the added features offered through this new partnership. We encourage employers to register early; existing user accounts on the older version of www.saskjobs.ca will be inaccessible as of May 1, 2018.
  • March 1, 2018: All new employers will be redirected to register and create accounts on the Saskjobs.ca/Job Bank for Employers page.
  • March 30, 2018: Employers must post all new jobs through the Saskjobs.ca/Job Bank for Employers page. Existing jobs on the older version of Saskjobs.ca will remain posted until April 30, 2018.
  • May 1, 2018: Saskatchewan jobs will exclusively be posted on the new Saskjobs.ca/National Job Bank website. Saskatchewan employers and job seekers can still go to www.saskjobs.ca to access the new Saskjobs.ca/National Job Bank services. All files and employer account information on the older version of Saskjobs.ca will be removed on this date.

Registration

More than 1,000 employers already use the National Job Bank to post Saskatchewan jobs. Register on the Saskjobs.ca/Job Bank for Employers page so you can join them. Complex applications may take a few days to verify, so sign up early to avoid delays.

To register, employer representatives must first create individual user accounts. You will need:

  • Your Social Insurance Number;
  • Your mother's maiden name; and
  • Your birth date.

Once you have created your user account, you can establish your employer file, and will need your Payroll Program Account Number from Canada Revenue Agency for this. All your personal details will be kept confidential and are used to ensure the utmost integrity of employer information on the site.
