The Alzheimer Society of Saskatchewan (ASOS) is a volunteer-based, non-profit organization committed to improving the lives of people affected by Alzheimers disease and related dementias. ASOS is currently recruiting an ambitious and result-oriented individual to work as a summer student in the role of Event Assistant.
The Event Assistant will work for an 8 week period, 35 hours per week, weekdays (generally between 8:30am 4:30pm) and operate as an integral part of the Revenue Development Team. You will play a supporting role in developing stewardship materials to support donor relationships, assist with planning special events, recruit community partners to host third party events, build relationships with donors, and assist with our donor stewardship and data entry.
This position is open to individuals who are deemed eligible by Employment and Social Development Canada. This includes:
individuals between 15 and 30 years of age (inclusive) at the start of employment;
is a Canadian Citizen, permanent resident, or person on whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act*; and is legally entitled to work according to the relevant provincial/territorial legislation and regulations.

Strong decision making skills including problem-solving
Adaptable to new challenges
