Dynamo is a design-build and maintenance-oriented company that specializes in power and control solutions for industrial and utility clients. Within this niche market we can provide a broad scope of services which allow us to be a complete technical solution provider for our clients.

Our Regina office requires a Distributed Control System (DCS) Automation Specialist to provide support for the controls and instrumentation teams. By joining our engineering team, you will be supporting the operation, maintenance, and improvement of the process control network.

Some of your responsibilities may include:

Act as the lead PLC/DCS/HMI programmer for projects including managing team, progress, cost, schedule etc.
Design, commission, and support of the control systems that are maintained by the Process and Automation team.
Drawing and documentation updates, including verification and red lining of field drawings.
Develop end-user operations and maintenance support documentation and procedures.
Perform anti-virus scans, system backups and verifications, and install Microsoft patches
Perform inventory updates
Perform daily and weekly checks of core control system components
Interact with clients, develop proposals, and support business development.

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Electrical Engineering, Electronic Systems, Instrumentation Engineering or an Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering Technology Diploma.
Relevant experience in an industrial setting considered an asset.
Experience with Honeywell Experion is considered an asset
Working knowledge of electrical protection, industrial process control and automation applications.
Proven problem solving and analytical skills.
Possess strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
Works effectively under time constraints, adapts to change, able to work alone, as well as enjoys participating in a team environment.
Physical fitness test and drug and alcohol test will be required.
