Description

We are looking for a dishwasher who will take pride in being responsible, for ensuring that the cleanliness of the kitchen is kept up to par with food service standards and above. The person will be required to wash dishes of both residents of the Village, as well as members of the general public.

Dishwashing duties will consist of assisting the executive chef, kitchen manager, or supervisors with multiple tasks that need to be done daily. The successful candidate will not only be designated to doing dishes but also helping with daily deliveries, general and deep cleaning.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
Maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen up to health standards and above.
Cleaning and sanitation of dishes, pots, pans, kitchen equipment.
Proper teamwork and communication with the kitchen team.
Washing dishes for learning centre, and delivery of food, and dishes to them for each meal time.
Ensure that all dishware, pots, pans, and kitchen are cleaned properly, doing daily cleaning logs.
Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.
Maintaining cleanliness of kitchen.
Controlling and minimizing wastage of chemical.
Ensuring proper rotation (FIFO) of new product and existing when helping with deliveries and putting product away into our storage areas.
Cleaning and Sanitizing of entire kitchen including but not limited to deep cleaning of exhaust hood, deep fryers, walls, floors
Removing garbage/Cardboard daily.
Washing of all transportation carts.
Working as a team to ensure success for the entire kitchen team.
General helping/Cleaning with The Perk & Taps Beverage house.
Assisting cooks with general prep work.
