We are looking for an outgoing responsible individual as our assistant store manager.
Responsibilities are:
-Day to day operations of a full service Liquor store.
-Maintaining budget
-Ordering & receiving
-Coaching & development
-Inventory control
The ASM must also provide efficient and friendly service to customers and for maintaining excellent Store operating standards at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
-Responsible for overall security of the store.
-Oversees the store operations and provides a safe working environment for the rest of the team.
-Provides a high level of customer service by establishing contact, greeting customers and ensuring customer satisfaction
-Provides solutions for customers concerns.
-Receiving orders and following the proper procedures.
- Maintains a balanced float while on shift and counts cash drawer at end of shift, reporting and accounting for any discrepancies
- Faces and displays merchandise
- Ensures products are scanning correctly and advises the SM of any discrepancies
- Demonstrates a high level of professional and ethical standards by adhering to all Company policies and procedures
- Handles products and operates equipment according to regulations and Company policies and procedures
- Demonstrates consistent growth in product knowledge and product changes
Requirements:
- Must be well versed with micro soft word & excel
- Attention to detail
- Advanced computer skills
- Punctual
- The ability to lead, coach and develop employees.
- Experience in the liquor industry with a firm knowledge of the SLGA laws in Sask.
- Must HAVE Open availability to work nights and weekends.
- Must be 19+ years of age
- Must have Serving it Right certification
- Must be able to bend, reach and stand for long periods of time with out issue.
-Must be able to lift 40 lbs on a regular basis without issue.
