Description

To provide childcare services at the Rainbow Youth Centre.

Duties:
Provide childcare for children 0-6 years
Interact with the children and engage them in developmentally appropriate activities
Respond to their physical needs
Assist in housekeeping duties
Interact positively with parents in regards to their children
Maintain supplies and the childcare area
Provide transportation for participants and children via 15 passenger van
Other duties as assigned by the Program Supervisor.

Qualifications:
Knowledge of early childhood development
Experience working with children ages 0-6
Experience working in multicultural setting
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to demonstrate effective communication skills
Ability to lift up to 15kg
Valid driver's licence is required (non probationary)
Criminal record check
First Aid/CPR certificate is an asset
ECE Certificate is an asset

Hours of work:
Mon. 11AM-5PM Tues. 2:30PM-8:00P.M.
Thurs.11:30 AM-5:00PM
