Description

At Health Quality Council (HQC), our mission is to accelerate improvement in health and health care throughout the lands now known as Saskatchewan, with a vision for optimal health and health care for everyone.

We are looking for a proactive, organized, and collaborative person to join the Health Quality Council as an Improvement Lead to accelerate improvement in the health and care systems across Saskatchewan.

The ideal candidate will:
-    Build strong relationships quickly and has a can-do, flexible approach
-    Bring experience in managing projects, great communication and team working skills, and have an interest in social innovation and systems change
-    Be a natural collaborator and problem solver
-    Bring energy and optimism and can keep the momentum of change going during uncertain or challenging periods of delivery
-    Believe in the value of diverse experiences, perspectives and knowledge and listens to the ideas of others

In this role, the successful candidate will contribute to a team that is collectively skilled in the following technical areas:

-    Quality Improvement Science:  Knowledge of quality improvement concepts, tools, and methods, including measurement and reporting.
-    Learning and Development: Knowledge of learning principles, team dynamics and group facilitation and coaching tools, techniques, and approaches.  
-    Project Management: Knowledge and ability to apply iterative project management methodology creatively in complex situations.
-    Change Management: Knowledge and ability to apply structured change management and engagement methods to transition individuals, teams, and organizations from a current state to a desired future state.

There is an opportunity to learn these technical skills on the job through training, peer-to-peer coaching, and self study.
