The Clean Team contributes daily to the Regina Downtown Business Improvement Districts Clean and Safe Program by performing maintenance and cleaning tasks that help to provide a clean and safe environment.
They are responsible for the removal of litter, debris and trash and its disposal in designated areas. Safe removal and disposal of syringes. Documenting, reporting and removal of light graffiti. Safely operate a sidewalk sweeper, pressure washer and utility vehicle.
This position also provides support and assistance to RDBID office staff by assisting at downtown events and conducting deliveries on behalf of Regina Downtown.
The Clean Team Member must possess strong teamwork, good problem-solving and communication skills and be able to establish effective working relationships with many different people. They must be capable of working independently and effectively with minimal supervision. They must be physically capable of performing heavy lifting and working outdoors for extended periods of time. Previous cleaning and maintenance experience is an asset but not required.
Some knowledge of Downtown Regina is required.
