Description

RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide a high level of customer service and sales of Building Material products,
Hardware, Chemical, and Dispensing Petroleum Products.
Assist with customer service and sales of merchandise
Provide gas pump and propane service.
Be knowledgeable about products and services offered by Pioneer Co-op, answering
questions, problem solving and following up to ensure customer satisfaction
Perform deliveries as required.
Stock shelves, coolers and general housekeeping duties.
Ensure coffee station is always clean, stocked and available for customers.
Assist with receiving, pricing and displaying merchandise.
Pick and prepare customer orders, taking payments, receiving and invoicing, inventory counts and control processes.
Operate cash register.
Operate a forklift as required with certification
Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS
Must portray good customer service skills, and be able to assume responsibility and work independently. Agro Centre experience or Service Station experience considered an asset. Must obtain TDG, WHMIS & Propane Certificates, once hired, as a condition of employment. This position involves heavy lifting and requires a valid class 5 Drivers
license or higher. This position is classified as Safety Sensitive Position: therefore, is subject to Pioneer Co-ops Alcohol & Substance policy as a condition of employment. Must be available for a variety of shifts including evenings and weekends. Averages 24  40
hours per week.
