Description

The R.M. of Tisdale No. 427, with office/shop located in Tisdale, SK, is currently seeking applications for a permanent full-time Heavy Equipment Operator.  The RM offers competitive wages and benefits (health, dental, & vision care, disability insurance, and pension plan).
Successful applicants will possess the following qualifications:
Be willing to work 40-60 hours per week, during peak season;
Have experience and be willing to operate heavy equipment as required (grader/snow plow, tractor/mower/rock picker, pay loader, gravel truck/trailer, etc.);
Knowledge of maintaining and repairing roads;
Be able to work under direction of the Council/Administrator, and work well with other employees;
Be able to work independently and with minimal supervision;
Be physically able to complete laboured tasks when required;
Provide proof of a valid Class 5 drivers license and drivers abstract upon request (Class 3A or 1A drivers license would be an asset)
Provide a criminal record check upon request
Knowledge of machinery maintenance (being mechanically inclined would be a definite asset);
Be safety-conscious and pay attention to detail
