North Shore is seeking a Junior Environmental Consultant, based out of Regina, Sask.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate & execute Phase 1, Phase 2, and Phase 3 Environmental Site Assessments through to reclamation certification
Coordinate & execute completion of reclamation & remediation projects in western Canada
Complete vegetation assessments & weed management activities
Assist with the execution of DSAs
Compile technical documents: DSA reports, Phase 2 ESA reports, remediation reports, and regulatory closure applications
Groundwater experience is an asset
Provide assistance to senior staff, as needed
Qualifications:
3 to 5 years of experience related to remediation, reclamation, or environmental science
Understanding of upstream oil & gas regulatory requirements
Vegetation & weed identification is an asset
Willing to travel & be in the field for extended periods of time
Technical Diploma or University Degree in environmental science or related discipline
Eligible to obtain professional designation
Proficient with Microsoft Office
Driver's license
Good physical health & ability to work outdoors
Willing to work within a team environment
Organized & have the ability to multi-tasks
