Description

Humboldt Housing Authority (HHA) manages a property and program services portfolio to provide affordable housing to seniors, families and others who could not otherwise access safe, secure housing.  

Humboldt Housing Authority has an opportunity for a one-year term Tenant Relations Officer to work part-time (.6 of full-time hours).

As a Tenant Relations Officer, youre at the heart of the teams business operations and activities. Processing housing applications, collecting rent, explaining leasing agreements, conducting home visits, and move-out inspections are part of your role.

You will assist the Manager with all aspects of tenant relations and liaise with human service agencies and stakeholders to help make everyday life and the social housing experience safer, healthier, and enjoyable for the most vulnerable.

You will be able to solve issues as they arise, manage conflict and stressful situations, and be reliable, accountable, trustworthy, and respectful of peoples diversity and individual differences.

The ideal candidate has applied knowledge of MS Office products, accounting skills, and the ability to develop and maintain excellent relationships with customers and co workers.  Experience with financial and records management, property management OR an equivalent combination of education and experience is an asset.

A valid SK driver's license, reliable roadworthy vehicle, and an approved Enhanced (Vulnerable Sector) criminal record check are conditions of employment.

Humboldt Housing Authority offers flexible work hours; benefits, including pension, are offered after the applicable waiting period.
