Assist the child in gaining recommended coping skills to alleviate excessive worry, panic attacks, phobias and related mental health needs.
Support programming, including hyperactivity, attention difficulties, impulsivity and related learning needs as recommended by Health care professionals to improve behavioral outcomes.
Support developmentally appropriate practices to learn new skills, improve communication, and become more independent.
Provide compassionate and culturally appropriate care and assistance in the activities of daily living.
Accompany the child to appointments, therapies, or recreational activities.
Support the child during special events or outings.
Attend to escalation calls from school.
Help with light housekeeping duties, such as special meal preparation (such as ikokore, ebiripo and isapa and apon meals), laundry, and tidying up.
Maintain a safe and clean home environment.
