Since 1982 Prairie Paving Inc. has been paving the way in Saskatoon and surrounding areas. Recognized as experts in commercial, industrial and municipal paving, we can handle all aspects of the job including site preparation, excavating, base placing and paving. Through our strong employee retention program we retain many industry veterans, however our continued expansion efforts have us looking to add additional individuals to our workforce!

Job Overview
The Paving Foreman/Woman is responsible to engage and lead a paving crew while maintaining the efficient use of time and materials. Achieving high quality results through performance management and influencing motivation will be a key job function in this role.

Responsibilities
    Lead and direct people, equipment, and resources
    Conduct hazard assessments, daily safety meetings, and complete all other required documentation
    Maintain companys positive image
    Ability to delegate roles and responsibilities to crew members
    Ability to adhere to company policies and safety practices
    Have extensive knowledge of paving practices and procedures and overall construction practices
    Proficient and competent in heavy construction equipment
    Able to deal with difficult situations and resolve issues between co-workers, teammates, etc.
Requirements
    Must already be present and legally eligible to work in Canada
    Valid drivers license with Class G endorsement
    Minimum 5 years experience in similar environment
    Ability to communicate with diverse work crews
    Capable of working overtime and weekends as required
