Description

Proposal development to secure present and new funding.
    Ensure financial reports are provided as required to a monthly or quarterly basis,
    Inform Board of changes affecting programs,
    Ensure organization and its funders objectives are met,
    Works with internal/external committees in developing, implementing, and monitoring programs and services.
    Participates in the appointment and termination of staff unitizing accepted policies and procedures, Provides staff with orientation of organization's policies, procedures, goals, benefits and obligations.
    Oversees staff activities to ensure our organization and funding agency goals are met
    Provides Board and staff with information concerning programs, services and/or policies,
    Acts as the communication link between Board and staff,
    Provides relevant information about our programs, services to community agencies,
    Represents the organization in negotiations and functions,
    Comply with Canada Revenue Agency (monthly payroll remittances, T4s & summary, charitable return,
    ROEs, etc.)
    Payroll and payments - online bi-weekly,
    Management of the Simply Accounting/SAGE Accounting program
    Maintains membership and staff records,
    Conducts annual staff evaluations,
    Ensure that BNFC buildings are well maintained,
    Ensuring insurance is up to date annually for Board, staff, buildings, and vehicles,
    Attends all Board meetings as a non-voting member and participates on committees, when necessary.
    Preparation of Board packages for all meetings,
    Responsible for billing, AP/AR and provision of receipts for all accounts, Work with Auditor to complete annual financial audited statements,
    Responsible to ordering supplies, equipment, and service of company vehicles Responsible for overseeing advertising regarding programs,
    Monitors the cleaning procedures to ensure health and safety guidelines,
    Carry out other administrative and organizational tasks as required,
    Works with other Friendship Centres.
