Location: Griffin
Shift: Monday to Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm
Principal Accountabilities:
Assisting customers as required
Ensuring the efficient and safe operation of the granular fertilizer facility, bulk seed facility, and radiochemical warehouses, including shipping and receiving, inventory management and maintenance as well as Phase III compliance.
Ensuring all documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner
Maintaining yard and office
Required Qualifications:
Must be legally entitled to work for Cargill in Canada
Must be 18 years or older
Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment
Ability to operate machinery and/or industrial equipment
Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
High school diploma/GEE or a minimum of two years equivalent work experience
Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advance notice
Possess a valid Canadian Full Class 5 Drivers Licence in good standing, authorizing you to drive independently during the course of your employment
Preferred Qualifications:
Completion of the following: Transportation of Dangerous Goods, WHIMS, Forklift Operator and First Aid/CPR
Computer skills
Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
Production or Plant experience
Possess a valid Canadian Full Class 1A Drivers Licence in good standing, authorizing you to drive independently during the course of your employment
