Description

SCOPE:
Assist the Senior Event Planners in the plan, design and production of events while managing all project delivery elements within approved time limits. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys a flexible working schedule that can often work remotely. The schedule will vary week to week ranging from 20-40 hours per week. This position will also personally be responsible to manage the execution of select events that must meet and exceed clients expectations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage RSVP Event Designs rental inventory and coordinate delivery and setup plans
Oversee staffing needs for events
Conduct event setup, management and tear down
Administrative tasks including designing proposals, vision boards, and invoices
Liaise with clients to identify their needs and to ensure customer satisfaction
Provide periodic reports to the clients
Meet and work with third party vendors collaboratively
Propose ideas to improve provided services and event quality
Ensure compliance with insurance, legal, health and safety obligations
Proactively handle any arising issues and troubleshoot any emerging problems on the event day

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Certificate in Event Management or related field is an asset
Experience working in events in the hospitality industry or similar
Project Management experience is an asset
Experience dealing with multiple logistical details
MS Office proficiency
Adobe InDesign proficiency is an asset
