Humboldt Sobeys is a retail grocery store in Humboldt, Sask.  The stores focus is on fresh products, full shelves and friendly staff.
Overview
The grocery manager is responsible for the operation of the grocery department including ordering, merchandising, company standards etc.
Job Description
People Leadership- create an environment that encourages teamwork and accountability while providing staff to learn and grow.
Customer Offering- to ensure company standards are me while providing exceptional customer service.
Policy/ Regulatory Adherence  responsible for maintaining all company standards and policies.
Financial- to achieve sales and profit targets.
Personal/ Professional Development- be prepared to access company sponsored personal development courses and learning opportunities while embracing an attitude of continuous improvement.
Employee Engagement- is to be a focus day to day to embrace all employees and provide an opportunity for all staff to learn and succeed.  Able to work with other departments and managers to nurture employee engagement and help provide a true team first focused approach.
Job Requirements- ability to work in a fast-paced environment while delegating and prioritizing all tasks to meet daily targets.  Some supervision experience is definitely and asset, but a can-do proactive attitude is a must.
