Looking for Bricklayers for the Weyburn Area. You will be working for a Union Contractor with above industry standard wages, complete with Health Benefits and Pension.
Looking for dependable workers that are able to work a physically demanding job in a face past environment
Duties are but not limited to:
Installing Masonry Units, Building Scaffold, Cutting Masonry Units, Mixing Mortar, Etc
Safety tickets needed are Fall Protection, SCOT and rights and responsibilities. If you do not have they will be provided to you.
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.)
- 1st Period Apprentice
- 2nd Period Apprentice
- 3rd Period Apprentice
- WHMIS
- Bricklayer Red Seal Certificate
- Bricklayer Trade Certification
Specific Skills
- Waterproof masonry
- Remove and replace existing masonry work for alterations or restorations
- Prepare and lay bricks, concrete blocks, structural tiles or other masonry units
- Place steel reinforcing and grout in cavities or cores to build external walls
- Lay bricks, stone or similar materials to provide veneer facing
- Face, size, cut and lay stones
- Construct and install prefabricated masonry units
- Assemble, erect and dismantle scaffolding, rigging and hoisting equipment
