About the Role:

The Project Accountant is accountable for providing accounting and transactional support for a project or group of projects. The incumbent is responsible for ensuring that project accounting processes and controls are being adhered to, in accordance with company policies and procedures, to ensure clear, accurate, consistent, and relevant project financial information on a timely basis.  The role is focused on executing the work, while gaining experience around managing and supporting team members in completing tasks. The Project Accountant will also be responsible for maintaining strong collaborative relationships with project staff and acts as a business partner.

As a Project Accountant at Graham, you will:

Review and direct a high-volume time keeping process and participate in LEMS reporting, to ensure complete, timely delivery that is in line with owner requirements.
Ensure audit and accuracy of project master data in Graham and Client systems
Ensure data flow and audit of detail between Graham systems and Client systems
Responsible for the administration of subtrade contracts and invoices in adherence with company policy.
Responsible for the accurate reconciliation and completion of owner progress billings (including change orders), ensuring on time and in compliance with the contract.
Examine and review projects to ensure costs are accurately allocated within projects.
Monitor and ensure timely accounts receivable collections and deposit of payments. Support and provide project input for weekly cash flow forecasts.
Responsible for the business units general transactional accounting processes, reconciliations, and month-end procedures, and ensures compliance with deadlines.
