Description

Summary
The Food Security Coordinator will play an integral role by working with the cook to ensure that the kitchen is well stocked with the necessary supplies to provide nutritious meals to the community.

Qualifications & Skills
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Responsible and reliable
Knowledge of the COVID-19 health guidelines set out by the SK Health Authority  
Able to manage time effectively
Valid Food Safe Level 1 certificate

Duties and Responsibilities  
Able to work in a fast-paced environment  
Able to manage time efficiently  
Knowledge and experience in food security including supply, procurement, safe handing, and storage.
Maintain and record stock and food supplies
Purchase food and supplies when required  
Picking up food donations when required  
Keep track of the donations and shopping budget
Self-motivated and self-directed  
Ability to work unsupervised and demonstrate motivation and initiative
Able to bend, move, and lift to 25 pounds or more
Monthly grocery order while staying in budget
Order cleaning supplies and water
Keep record of Health and Safety Maintenance and Inventory
Police Record Check required  
Drivers license and vehicle is must/Please while applying mention in your resume if you have valid drivers license and own vehicle.
