Description

RFNOW Inc. is seeking applications from motivated individuals interested in helping lead our crews on our Construction and Maintenance Team. Our Construction Foreman  Drop Crew will demonstrate hands-on leadership for our drop crews on individual worksites across the region by role-modelling safe and efficient work processes, assigning tasks, providing training, and problem-solving. They will provide day-to-day coaching and guidance to our operators and labourers who are integral in the efficient preparation, construction, and installation of our fibreoptic infrastructure.

General Responsibilities:

Responsible for running drop fiber from main line into homes.
Problem Solve and Coordinate daily activities on construction sites to ensure quality and efficient operations, plan to ensure required materials are onsite, manpower requirements, mechanical issues or work scope changes.
Inform Superintendent of work activities, issues, workflow, or any issues discovered through daily job planning.
Complete and submit daily production reports: including but not limited to, as-built and quality control documents, ground disturbance checklists, truck and equipment pre-trips.
Mentor new and existing workers on construction best practices and promote a culture of safety.
Facilitate communication with crew members through Toolbox meetings, Safety Memos, and mentorship.
Ensure RFNOW and MB/SK OH&S standards, policies and procedures are understood and followed by all employees.
Ensure all incidents are reported (near misses, property damage, injuries, environmental, etc.) before the end of the shift.
Successfully Interact with consumers and public on a daily basis.
Be familiar with and conduct self according to RFNOW Inc Policy & Procedures
