Description

This Program is a supportive living program that works with families who are experiencing a wide range of barriers. The focus of the program is to work alongside MSS and the families to reunify and to create strength based individualized case plans for those who are part of the program. Support workers model, demonstrate and teach basic life skills and connect families with formal supports in the community.

The program coordinator is responsible for:
Determining eligibility and completing intakes for families being referred to the program. Collaborating with MSS, managing referrals and compiling a waitlist for future families.  
Conflict resolution, crisis intervention and potential evictions/program discharge from program when necessary.
Manage and approve the supplies and petty needed for daily functioning of the program. Keeping records and connecting with finance department within the organization.
Conducting interviews and write ups/terminations when needed.  Having a good sense of judgment through this process.
Ability to manage staff and families within the program. Providing support, problem solving and advocating when needed.
Schedule staff shifts in accordance with the programs needs. This includes last minute changes in shifts and getting shifts covered to ensure the program is properly staffed.
Provide support to staff through supervision meetings on a monthly basis or when needed. Supervision meetings assist the staff with problem solving and case planning suggestions for the families they are currently working with.  
Must be available to be on-call 24/7 and deal with crisis in a timely manner.  
Must be able to delegate tasks and allocate families to staff.
Ensuring that monthly reports are completed for MSS. Monthly reports are done for each family and completed by the support staff.
Updating and submitting monthly stats to MSS and submitting monthly updates to executive director.
