Competencies

1. Certification from Boiler and Pressure Vessels Branch for 5th Class Power Engineer Certificate and Refrigeration Operators Certificate and knowledge of safe working requirements, including WHIMIS and OH&S.

2. Must be able to use a variety of hand and power tools; handle cleaning products and operate various equipment to carry out cleaning routines and procedures.

3. Must possess physical strength, mobility and flexibility to perform duties of the position, including lifting up to 50 lbs.

4. Must be able to make sound decisions/judgement calls for the repair, maintenance and monitoring of building equipment.

5. Must be willing to work days, weekends & holidays and be able to work with minimum supervision and within a team.

6. Must possess valid Class 5 Novice 1 (minimum) drivers license.
