Job Description: UNDER THE DIRECTION OF THE MANAGER OF NURSING, THE RN WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ASSESSMENT, PLANNING, IMPLEMENTATION AND EVALUATION OF PATIENT CARE ON 5TH MEDICINE.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Nursing
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Registered or eligible for registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
Experience
1 year of acute care experience to meet the observation training requirement
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to initiate and exercise critical thinking and decision-making
Ability to perform the functions of the position, after unit orientation and training for certifiable skills
Demonstrated knowledge and skills in applying the nursing process
