Description

The suitable candidate will be able to perform the following duties:
Ability to prepare cultural activities for land-based students;
Assist in cultural events and preparing traditional foods;
Assist in providing cultural teachings;
Engage with students and provide support in cultural activities;
Ensure students are supervised at all times;
Assist in arranging transportation for students as needed;
Respond to general enquiries of the Cultural Camps purpose, processes and procedures and/or other information being requested;
Assist in gathering materials, tools and accessories for Culture Camp;
Organize and participate in Cultural Activities;
Provide school & student support to ensure student safety at all times;

The suitable candidates will possess the following qualifications:
Grade 12 or equivalent;
Must be prepared to work with children with various skills and abilities;
Must ensure student safety;
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Ability to lift heavy objects;
Prefer to have or willing to obtain First Aid Certificate
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Must provide a satisfactory Criminal Record Check/Vulnerable Sector Check.
