Description

We are looking for a compassionate, caring, patient person, with an upbeat attitude and strong interpersonal skills. The Home Health Aide will apply knowledge-based practices independently while working in collaboration with the client(s) and other home care professionals to promote independent living of our clients. About the facility: You will be working in the homes of our clients, providing necessary home management & personal care and respite assistance.
About the position: Working 7.5-hour shifts Full time. Home Health aides must be able to work independently and collaboratively with the home care team. Providing assistance to our clients with physical abilities; must be self-directed and demonstrate organizational skills.

Qualifications: Suitable candidates will have a minimum Grade 12; Continuing Care/Home Health Aide Certificate or equivalent required; Certified First Aide & CPR required or willing to obtain; Combination of Education and Experience may be considered; previous home care or childcare experience is an asset; Experience working with First Nations Communities is an asset;
