McMunn & Yates Furniture & Appliances, a division of McMunn & Yates Building Supplies is a one of a kind retail location  part of a family of 22 building supply stores located throughout Manitoba, eastern Saskatchewan, and northwestern Ontario. Here youll find over 15,000 square feet of furniture and appliance displays, along with helpful and experienced staff to guide you with you buying decisions.

We are currently accepting applications for a Part time Furniture Sales Specialist/Receiver at our Yorkton, SK location. This position will be scheduled 3 - 4 days a week including some Saturdays.

As a valuable member of our team your duties will include:

- Administrative duties including data collection and entry in various formats and software
- Receives merchandise into computer system
- Verifies quantities, pricing and freight on shipments
- Checks packing slips noting any discrepancies and follows up on damage claims
- Working Independently or with Colleagues to ensure Clients needs are met
- Assisting clients to source and select products
- Manage custom orders
- Updating displays on the sales floor, this will include moving product from the warehouse to the sales floor as required

The successful candidate will:

- Show a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service
- Be physically able to lift/carry over 50lbs
- The ability to work in a team environment is essential
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs
- Display a desire to expand on their knowledge and skill set
- Available to work a variety of shifts including Saturdays
