Job Description: Reporting to the Manager, the incumbent is responsible for the screening and coordination of initial service requests for all programs within Mental Health and Addictions Services in the Saskatchewan Health Authority. The Assessor Coordinator Degree provides screening, triage, assessments for urgency/risk, and coordinates case assignments. The position facilitates crisis response and short-term support for services to clients presenting with a variety of mental health and addictions issues. The Assessor Coordinator Degree provides consultation to Community Agencies and Programs regarding services available in Mental Health and Addiction Services.  
Required Qualifications

Clinical experience working in a Mental Health and Addictions setting
Must hold current registration with the respective association within Saskatchewan
Valid Driver's License
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to conduct a suicide risk assessment and create a risk management plan with the other health care providers on the team.
Ability to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team, community agencies and professionals
Ability to work flexible hours
Ability to work independently and as a team member
Apply ethical, culturally sensitive and legal principles in practice with peer supporters and clinicians working with at-risk individuals and their families. This includes sound Knowledge of protocols and Legislation that relate to addictions and mental health services and the practice of peer support.
Awareness of and ability to cope with a wide variety of clinical, ethical and legal issues related to mental health services.
Broad knowledge of community resources and demonstrated ability
