The STI-BBI Community Health Nurse is responsible for the delivery of Sexual Health services within the Battle River Treaty 6 Health Centre communities this includes sexual health outreach services which include testing, treatment, preventative education, counselling, support, and harm reduction services, this includes working one day a week at the Battlefords Sexual Health clinic.

QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelor of Science in Nursing
* Registered Nurse in good standing (or eligible to become registered) with Sask. Registered Nurses Association.
* Minimum 3 years in community health nursing experience in First Nations community an asset.
* Demonstrate an understanding of the health and social issues facing First Nations people.
* Good understanding of population health principles and concepts
* Must be able to work as an effective team member and to work independently, in a self- motivated manner.
* Excellent interpersonal communication skills
* Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
* Must possess Valid drivers license.
* Previous working experience with First Nations people and demonstrate an understanding of the health and social issues encountered by First Nation people and a willingness to learn about and accept First Nations cultures.
* Must provide a clear criminal record check with vulnerable sector.
* Must be computer literate.
