Description

3sHealth is seeking an Information Management (IM) Analyst with expertise in cybersecurity and privacy to join our team in our Regina location. The Analyst, IM will work to ensure that 3sHealth service lines are adequately enabled to manage their information in a secure and private manner. They will also participate in the growth of the cybersecurity program at 3sHealth and use industry best practices to ensure the effective management of cybersecurity risks.  In collaboration with the Manager of Information Management (IM), The Analyst, IM will assist in the development of cybersecurity policies and awareness programs for 3sHealth. The Analyst, IM will work with other Information Management and Information Technology partners in the Saskatchewan Health Care System to achieve shared provincial health system goals.  

What We're Looking For:
-Our ideal candidate for this position will have a minimum 5 years' experience in IT/IM operations,
-A university degree in computer science or a related field,
-An understanding of cybersecurity and privacy, and strong critical thinking skills.
-Preference would be given to someone who has cybersecurity designation.
-Knowledge of lean processes would be considered an asset.
-Deeper understanding of risk management concepts and ability to conduct risk and gap assessment.
-Ability to provide policy interpretation and communicate guidance orally and in writing to 3sHealth staff.
-Being aware of evolving privacy laws and regulations, ensuring the organization's adherence to applicable standards.
-Able to collaborate with relevant stakeholders to recommend risk mitigation strategies.
-Ability to lead or support incident response efforts in the event of a privacy or cybersecurity breach.
