As an Automotive Service Advisor, you play a pivotal role in the automotive repair industry. Your primary responsibility is to provide exceptional customer service, expert advice, and efficient support to clients visiting our automotive repair shop. Lets dive into the details:

Responsibilities:

1. Listening and Assessment:

-Listen attentively to customers accounts of issues and symptoms related to their vehicles.
-Take excellent notes about the problem to best communicate the client request to the service technician.

2. Warranty and Coverage Verification:

-Verify warranty, insurance, or contract coverage for the requested service.
-Calculate and provide customers with a clear estimate of expenses for resolving the issue.

3. Effective Communication:

-Explain the repair process to clients, ensuring they understand what to expect.
-Draft clear repair orders with all relevant information, including diagnostics and recommended solutions.

4. Collaboration and Resolution:

-Work closely with supervisors, repair technicians, and the rest of the team to provide a positive and expedient resolution for clients.
-Ensure seamless coordination between the service department and the customer.

5. Customer Service Excellence:

-Build strong relationships with clients, addressing their concerns and inquiries promptly.
-Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience throughout the repair process.

6. Skills and Qualifications:

-Great customer service skills: Youre the friendly face our clients rely on.
-Physical capability: Ability to lift up to 25-30 pounds (for handling parts and equipment).
-Strong written and mathematical skills: Precise communication is essential.
-Commitment to quality: Strive for excellence in every interaction.
