RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Verify gross margin calculations for departments.
2. Create entries during the cut-off period.
3. Reconcile general/sub ledger accounts.
4. Audit department receiving books.
5. Investigate statements to ensure accuracy.
6. Statistics Canada Surveys.
7. Ability to submit government remittances
8. Assist in Accounts Payable and Sales Audit
9. Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
Employee must approach work with a professional, positive attitude, portraying
a business-like image at all times. Employee must be dependable, punctual
and able to work independently. Completion of High school education
mandatory, post-secondary education or equivalent experience in accounting
is preferred. Requires good investigative and problem-solving skills. Strong
computer skills and knowledge of Excel required. Ability to move files
electronically within computer programs a must. Previous experience in assets,
perpetual inventories, general ledgers and receiving an asset.
