Description

Are you passionate about making a difference in people's lives? Do you have a strong background in finance, payroll, and benefits administration? Mobile Crisis is seeking a dedicated Accounts and Benefits Worker to join our team and support our mission-driven initiatives.

Responsibilities:
Manage bill payments and financial transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
Prepare and complete financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Process payroll for employees, including deductions, taxes, and other related tasks.
Maintain schedules for staff, ensuring adequate coverage and efficient workflow.
Register staff for health and dental benefits, as well as pension plans, for employees.
Assist in the preparation of budgets.
Monitor donations, generate tax receipts, and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
Utilize SPSS software to collect statistical data and analyze trends.
Manage personnel files, including setting up and maintaining records.

Requirements:
Successfully completed a post-secondary Office Administration Course or a combination of post-secondary education in Office Administration and related work experience will be considered.
Proven experience in accounts management, payroll processing, and benefits administration.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.
Familiarity with SPSS software for data collection and analysis.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience working in a non-profit or similar environment is a plus.
