Reporting to the Director of Strategic Planning & Governance, the Strategic Planning Analyst delivers strategic support services for Innovation Saskatchewan and plays a supporting role in developing foundational documents, such as the strategic plan and budget submission. The position also supports the development, implementation, monitoring and ongoing renewal of strategic planning and reporting processes. Duties include but are not limited to:
-Supporting and advising the Director of Strategic Planning & Governance in the development, execution, monitoring and evaluation of Innovation Saskatchewan's strategy
-Ensuring suitable metrics are identified to measure performance and progress
-Coordinating and maintaining regular reporting of results related to corporate key performance indicators, agency initiatives and improvement activities
-Evaluating existing processes to ensure efficiency, consistency and relevance and support continuous improvement initiatives on behalf of the agency
-Coordinating and preparing a variety of written materials, including results reporting, briefing notes, standard operating procedures and process maps to support recommendations
-Conducting in-depth research and analysis on opportunities, challenges and best practices in the areas of strategic planning and continuous improvement
-Collaborating with internal stakeholders on strategy development and implementation
