Description

Applications are being accepted for the position of Superintendent of Education  Learning Services. As a member of the senior executive council, the successful candidate will help provide leadership to the Learning Services division that oversees administration of schools and the associated services. Duties will commence August 1, 2024, or on a mutually agreed upon date.

Required qualifications for this position include:
- Commitment to the ideals and principles of Catholic education
- Identification with a parish and participation in the life of the Catholic Church
- Demonstrated practice in fostering workplaces and learning environments that are respectful and inclusive of diverse peoples and communities
- Demonstrated servant leadership and minimum five (5) years' successful educational administration experience
- Experience in building positive relationships with Indigenous peoples, organizations and communities
- Experience in elementary school leadership an asset
- Eligibility for membership in the Saskatchewan League of Educational Administrators, Directors, and Superintendents (LEADS) See Section 8: https://saskleads.ca/board/leads-bylaws/

This senior leadership position will provide an exciting challenge for candidates who possess strong administrative, human relations, communication, instruction, and assessment skills. Strong leadership and proven experience in leading change that improves student outcomes, particularly for First Nations, Mtis and Inuit students, are important capacities.
