Chess Club is looking for the next great Art Director to join our team and oh, what a team it is. You'll see. Maybe. We know you know what an Art Director is, but just so there's no confusion, responsibilities in this role include working with account managers, copywriters, and other designers to understand our clients, their strategic positioning, and their target audiences. In addition, you'll be delivering conceptual campaign ideas and storyboarding to help sell those ideas. You'll lead client presentations of internally approved concepts, and then you'll take those concepts and turn them into fully realized work.

In a perfect world, you'd come work with us in Chess Clubs beautiful office in the heart of Saskatoon, but were open to different arrangements if needed, including remote work, as long as you live in Canada and can work when we do.

Were ideally looking for someone with about 5+ years of experience in branding, advertising, and/or visual communications who can think in campaigns, fire off ideas that spark curiosity, collaborate with a team, and meet deadlines. Experience with InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and XD is a requirement, and knowledge of programs like After Effects, Premiere, Resolve, and Figma is an asset.
