We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic individual as an ECE. Under the supervision of the Director, the individual must provide quality care in order to maintain the well-being of each child.
Early childhood education or willing to take online course to achieve ECE 1-3.
Current RCMP criminal record check and vulnerable sector check, Child Abuse record check, First aid/CPR certification
Strong communication skills, very punctual as well be fit and able to organize activities for children, monitor childrens safety
Must be a team player
Ability to work unsupervised

Early Childhood Education Skills
- Provide opportunity for creative expression through the mediums of art, dramatic play and music
- Provide supervision and guidance of daily activities, field trips and special activities
- Plan and develop child care and nursery school programs
- Assess the developmental level of children
Early Childhood Educator Assistant Skills
- Prepare craft materials and assist children to use them
- Prepare and serve snacks
- Observe children and report on observations to supervisor
- Guide children in development of proper eating, dressing and toilet habits
- Discuss progress and problems of children at staff meetings
- Bathe, diaper and feed infants and toddlers
- Arrange transition periods such as lunch and rest for children
