Working within a Supportive Apartment Living environment for pregnant and early postpartum women struggling with addiction issues, the Program Support Workers provide 24 hour on site supervision and supports to participants in the Raising Hope program. This may include assisting parents to develop parenting and life skills, assisting women in connecting with other relevant community resources, teaching family skills, providing short-term child care, and providing transportation to appointments and programming. The successful incumbent will also provide some cleaning and sanitization duties of common areas and empty apartments on an as needed basis. Previous experience working within a group home setting and/or working with families with similar challenges are assets. Please highlight your knowledge of women and substance abuse issues, prenatal and postnatal care, and harm reduction. A combination of education and experience will be considered. A valid Class 5 Driver's License is required. Please note that this is a part-time position (24 hrs. per wk.). The shifts are Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings from 4pm to 12am.
