Description

The Maintenance Supervisor is a key position within the organization who coordinates and performs work associated with the construction, maintenance, and repair of Namerind properties, grounds, and equipment  in order to maximize occupancy and contribute to the organizations overall success.

This position is also responsible for overseeing the work performed by staff on-site, ensuring Namerind standards are maintained. Additionally, this role operates a wide range of tools and equipment, purchases equipment and materials, responds to tenant or contractor concerns/issues, and ensures compliance with applicable legislation and safety-related regulations.

Ideally, the Maintenance Supervisor would possess a Journeyperson certificate in carpentry and related experience working in residential and/or commercial construction/maintenance/repair. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered. A valid drivers license is necessary.

Having a customer-focus, safety-orientation, solid work ethic, initiative, interpersonal skill, and demonstrated leadership capability are key attributes of the Maintenance Supervisor.
