Description

Travelodge by Wyndham is a renowned chain of hotels known for its exceptional hospitality and customer service. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Hotel Assistant Manager to join our team.

As a Hotel Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for assisting the Hotel Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the hotel, ensuring guest satisfaction, managing staff, and maintaining a high level of cleanliness and organization throughout the property. You will also be involved in administrative tasks, such as budgeting, scheduling, and inventory management.


Responsibilities and Skills:

Assist the Hotel Manager in managing all aspects of the hotel's operations.
Ensure guest satisfaction by providing exceptional customer service and resolving any guest issues promptly.
Supervise hotel staff, including front desk agents, housekeeping, and maintenance teams.
Assist in developing and implementing strategies to increase revenue and reduce costs.
Monitor hotel performance metrics and make recommendations for
improvement.
Ensure compliance with all hotel policies and procedures, as well as health and safety regulations.
Assist in recruiting, training, and evaluating hotel staff.
Handle guest inquiries and complaints in a professional and courteous
manner
Perform other duties as assigned by the Hotel Manager.

Requirement:

Must have a minimum of 2-5 years hotel management/ Supervisor experience.
Previous experience in a management position and proven ability to manage and maintain the highest service standards.
Service-focused personality is essential.
Previous experience in a similar leadership role is an asset.
Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities and the ability to lead by example.
Must be legally authorized to work in Canada to be considered
