Description

At the Saskatchewan Foster Families Association, our mission is to uplift and support foster families, cultivating nurturing environments and promising futures for children and youth in care throughout our province. Currently, we're seeking a compassionate Part-time & Full-time Childcare Worker to provide essential support to foster homes in Lebret, SK.

In this multifaceted role, you'll undertake various responsibilities including childcare, basic housekeeping, and facilitating transportation for family visits or outings. Flexibility is paramount as you navigate the dynamic demands of the position, ensuring the well-being of the children in your care.

We're looking for an individual who embodies confidence, self-motivation, and reliability, demonstrating professionalism and attention to detail at all times. As a valued team member, you'll collaborate effectively, embracing change and seizing opportunities for growth and learning.

Position Details:

Job Type: Part-time & Full-time positions available
Schedule: Flexible
Qualifications:

ECE or Youth Care Worker certification required
Experience in childcare/early childhood development preferred, especially with diverse challenges
Commitment to a healthy lifestyle
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriate boundaries
Effective communication skills, both oral and written
Valid drivers license and recent Criminal Records Check
