Description

Shekinah Retreat Centre has an opening for a weekend hospitality host/hostess. We are seeking a friendly and outgoing individual to join our team as a Host/Host. As a Host/Host, you will be one of the primary point of contacts for our guests, providing them with a warm welcome and ensuring they have a pleasant and memorable stay here at Shekinah. We are located about 45 minutes north of Saskatoon, on the North Saskatchewan River.  The heart of Shekinah is summer camp for children from ages 7-18 years. In addition our facilities are available for rent for group meetings of every kind from weddings, family reunions, church meetings, quilting workshops and business meetings to school programing.

General Responsibilities
*Double check final preparations for rental group prior to check in.
*Check in and orient rental group to the facility.
*Collaborate with and support the work of caterers, if the rental event is catered. (includes setting out *food for meals, providing beverage service, clearing tables and dishwashing and may involve supervision of casual kitchen help)
*Monitor supplies and clean washrooms in the timberlodge during the rental event.
*Facilitate rental group rental check out.
*Other duties as assigned by the Booking Coordinator.

Terms of Employment
*Seasonal (June 14 - September 2)
*Weekly schedule: primarily Friday to Sunday
*Part time (guaranteed 25 hours per week)
*Additional casual hours may be available (May 1 - September 2) in discussion with the executive director
*Hourly wage: $19/hour
*Host expected to remain on site for the duration of rental booking. On site accommodation provided free of charge
*Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Record Check to be submitted prior to beginning of employment
