Description

Wellen Boring & Drilling Ltd. is a local company specializing in drilling water wells.  Primarily we serve acreages, farms and agricultural related businesses.  The Company has been in business for over 40 years and prides itself in providing the highest quality water well drilling service.  We have developed a reputation for superior service, trustworthiness and reliability.

We are currently looking for a special person that uniquely fits this role which is critical to our business. The phone is our lifeline and in most cases this position is the first point of contact and will not only educate our customers in terms of their options and provide estimates but also manage the relationship throughout the process.

This is not merely a receptionist role but rather the hub and traffic controller of our business.  A key element of this position is scheduling the drilling teams on a daily/weekly basis.

This position is very diverse in nature and requires independent work skills, a high level of personal integrity and a strong work ethic.  The successful candidate MUST have excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and X-Cel.

Experience in the agricultural community, as well as, working knowledge of Quick Books will be considered an asset.  The candidate must be a self-starter and be prepared to take initiative and be flexible in their contribution to the Company.

This position is a job-share position and may be either 2.5 - 3 days a week depending on the candidate.  Given the nature of our business is seasonal, reduced working hours from December 1  April 30 may be optional.
