POSITION SUMMARY:  
As a subject matter expert, the Fire Prevention Specialist (FCS) is part of the STC Emergency Management program and is responsible for the development and implementation of FireSmart, wildland fire, and structural fire initiatives for the Saskatoon Tribal Council and the seven member First Nations.  Under the direction and authority of the Saskatoon Tribal Council (STC) and supervision of the Environmental Public Health Program Manager, the FPS works collaboratively with the Emergency Response Planner (ERP) across a spectrum of activities in the area of fire prevention, mitigation, preparedness, response, and recovery.
