Description

Invites applications for the position of a temporary part-time Assistant Caretaker at Blaine Lake Composite School.  The successful candidate will be required to work .375 FTE or 15 hours per week, performing general caretaking duties around a flexible schedule. The length of the contract will be 2 months with the possibility of an extension.  Blaine Lake Composite School is located in Blaine Lake, SK which is 80 km from Saskatoon. This position begins May 1, 2024.  The starting salary for this position is $19.41 per hour.

Caretakers work to the highest standards possible. Our caretaking staff are supported by the division Maintenance Supervisor.

Preference will be given to caretakers who:
Have training and/or experience in the caretaker field;
Place a high premium on safety at all times;
Demonstrate a caring and supportive attitude toward children;
Value communication and collaborative relationships;
Are committed to being flexible in the workplace;
Are committed to positive working relationships.
