Description

Aplin has partnered with our client to recruit a Civil Engineer to join their team as Construction Manager. We are seeking a proven leader who is capable of taking on a broad scope of duties including design, project management and contracts administration. Based in Regina, this full-time permanent opportunity is with an organization that values safety, adaptability, and client-focused solutions.

Responsibilities:
General civil engineering duties from the tender stage through project completion
Completing feasibility assessments and site inspections
Developing detailed designs and providing technical oversight
Project management, including planning and organizing work assignments of consultants and contractors
Contracts administration
Maintain effective communication with all internal and external partners across a variety of industries

Strong interpersonal communication skills (both written and verbal)
Strong analytical, strategic, and critical-thinking skills, sound decision-making and judgement
Proven organizational, planning, and time management skills
Highly motivated and self-directed
Ethics, integrity, accountability, and collaboration
Ability to mentor junior team members

Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering is mandatory, along with a minimum of 8-10 years professional experience relating to transportation and roadways
Must be currently registered in Canada as a Professional Engineer, either licensed in Saskatchewan or eligible for Inter-Provincial Mobility
Demonstrated skill in project management, conducting presentations, communicating and selling ideas and in leading group discussions
Competent in the entire MS Office suite, and relevant engineering softwares
