We are seeking energetic individuals to join the Saskatoon Housing Authority team.  If you enjoy working in a non-routine work environment, take pride in providing a high level of customer service, janitorial care/maintenance repair please consider this opportunity.

In this in-scope position, the successful candidates will provide support & cover-off of properties.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

. perform & coordinate janitorial duties in a timely manner while ensuring tenant safety & security.
. Effectively assess the working order of all components of the property (structure, mechanical, cosmetic etc.)
. Efficiently perform necessary repairs to the properties
. Facilitate damage repair; coordinating the completion of any outside contractor work
. Communicate effectively & respectfully with our tenants & SHA management/staff
.  Verify completion of work & ensure Residential Standards Codes are met.
.  Maintain properties: janitorial duties to include inside common areas & exterior grounds, including snow removal & yard care.
.  Manage maintenance service requests from tenants, after hour emergencies & work with the maintenance department & contractors to ensure work is complete.
.  Ensure vacant units are ready for occupancy on time, perform move outs & move ins, work with contractors, Tenant Services and Maintenance departments.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

. Grade 12 or equivalent
. 1-2 years general maintenance & cleaning
. Excellent customer service skills
. Integrity & good work ethics
. Ability & willingness to work non-standard hours
. Possess a valid Drivers License & a roadworthy vehicle
. Ability & willingness to provide own hand tools
. provide a Criminal with Vulnerable Sector Record check
. proficiency in English is essential (reading, writing and communication skills)
