Position Details:     Full Time Position
Compensation:         $58,000-$63,000 annual salary (based on experience)
Hours of Work:         37.5 hours/week and includes evenings and weekends

Qualified applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada or have appropriate documents permitting them to reside and work in Canada.

This position plays a key role in engaging, empowering, and educating youth, families, visitors, tourists and other stakeholders by researching, developing, planning, implementing, and evaluating education and public programs at the museum. This includes a range of activities such as educational programming, both in-person and virtual tours and programs, special events (like Canada Day), and camps for youth.

This position ensures these inspiring, educational, engaging programs complement and supplement the strategic goals and objectives of the RCMP Heritage Centre.  

This position works as part of the programming team to develop exceptional experiences for visitors to the RCMP Heritage Centre; primarily for education and classroom programs. The ideal candidate will be a creative, flexible, outside the box thinker who is a strong educator/facilitator. We need someone who is great with people of all ages, and who can develop and deliver programs for all ages with enthusiasm, and a genuine interest and passion for learning.  

This energetic collaborator will lead alongside our other community education program coordinators to support the RCMP Heritage Centre through organizational change as the Centre delivers a world-class visitor experience while working toward a dream 20 years in the makingachieving national museum status.
